Need a semi-clear, hard *strong* plastic...which one to use?

I am designing an LED light for spinning on the end of a string. I want the case to be semi-clear...it should catch/diffuse some light, maybe 50% opacity. Being that it is for spinning on strings, it needs to be Very durable. If the case is between .25cm and .75cm thick, holding a 9V battery, with centrifugal force being a constant test of strength, which product in your list should I be looking at? It must be able to withstand accidental smacks on walls or the ground. The string would be attached to the case by a swivel, with fins for aerodynamics, so I must be sure that I am ordering a strong enough material that the swivel/fins won't chip or shatter too easily. Any suggestions?

Michael,

None of our products would work for that application. Alumilite in 1/8" or less is not up to that kind of force or stress.

Thank you for your inquiry.

My Best,

Carol
