casting resin

I would like to make some fishing lures. My questions are . Does it float after it dryes ? Can i use acrilic paint to paint it and how easy is it to drill holes in ? I wouldnt need to tap it just put a screw eye in it . Thank You

It can be drilled, some even leave a hole for their screw eye to go in right in the mold when they make their mold.

It will not float unless you use microballoons, these can be added up to 100% by volume.
